A public service annoucement

Attention citizens!
You may be a victim of mind control or hypnosis and might not realise it!
Here presented to me by the angel of the goddess are the 23 things to look for in your everyday life.

If you tick YES to ten or more of these 23 catagories, YOU MAY BE A VICTIM OF BRAINWASHING.

If symptoms persist, please call your first church of reason and they will tell you what to do next.

1) HYPNOSIS - Inducing a high state of suggestibility, often thinly disguised as relaxation or meditation.

a. Repetitive Music (most likely with a beat close to the human heart 45 to 72 beats per minute). Most likely used during "study sessions" as the teacher will say the music helps you relax and concentrate better!

b. Voice Roll -- A "voice roll" is a patterned, paced style used by hypnotists when inducing a trance. It is also used by many lawyers, several of whom are highly trained hypnotists, when they desire to entrench a point firmly in the minds of the jurors. A voice roll can sound as if the speaker were talking to the beat of a metronome or it may sound as though he were emphasizing every word in a monotonous, patterned style. The words will usually be delivered at the rate of 45 to 60 beats per minute, maximizing the hypnotic effect.

c. Room "Feel" - The way a room feels is essential to hypnotizing unknowing subjects. It needs special lighting, florescent lights are best because they aren't too dim, but aren't too harsh. Also, Room Temp helps a bit, usually a little cooler than normal room temperature. You need to have the unknowing subjects very relaxed, perhaps even close to falling asleep.

2) PEER GROUP PRESSURE - Suppressing doubt and resistance to new ideas by exploiting the need to belong.

3) "LOVE BOMBING" - Creating a sense of family through physical touch, thought & feeling sharing and emotional bonding.

4) REJECTION OF OLD VALUES - Accelerating acceptance of new lifestyle by constantly denouncing former beliefs and values.

5) CONFUSING DOCTRINE - Encouraging blind acceptance and rejection of logic through complex lectures on an incomprehensible doctrine.

6) METACOMMUNICATION - Implanting subliminal messages by stressing certain key words or phrases in long, confusing lectures.

7) REMOVAL OF PRIVACY - Achieving loss of ability to evaluate logically by preventing private contemplation.

8) DISINHIBITION - Encouraging child-like obedience by orchestrating child-like behaviour

9) UNCOMPROMISING RULES - Inducing regression and disorientation by soliciting agreement to seemingly simple rules which regulate mealtimes, bathroom breaks and use of medications.

10) VERBAL ABUSE - Desensitizing through bombardment with foul and abusive language. (Physical abuse, such as torture, is the more extreme form of this.)

11) SLEEP DEPRIVATION AND FATIGUE - Creating disorientation and vulnerability by prolonging mental and physical activity and withholding adequate rest and sleep.

12) DRESS CODES - Removing individuality by demanding conformity to the group dress code.

13) CHANTING OR SINGING - Eliminating non-cult ideas through group repetition of mind-narrowing chants or phrases.

14) CONFESSION - Encouraging the destruction of individual ego through confession of personal weaknesses and innermost feelings of doubt.

15) FINANCIAL COMMITMENT - Achieving increased dependence on the group by 'burning bridges' to the past, through the donation of assets.

16) FINGER POINTING - Creating a false sense of righteousness by pointing to the shortcomings of the outside world.

17) ISOLATION - Inducing loss of reality by physical separation from family, friends, society and rational references.

18) CONTROLLED APPROVAL - Maintaining vulnerability and confusion by alternately rewarding and punishing similar actions.

19) CHANGE OF DIET - Creating disorientation and increased susceptibility to emotional arousal by depriving the nervous system of necessary nutrients through the use of special diets and/or fasting. Also applying drugs for these purposes fall in this category.

20) GAMES - Inducing dependence on the group by introducing games with obscure rules.

21) NO QUESTIONS - Accomplishing automatic acceptance of beliefs by discouraging questions.

22) GUILT - Reinforcing the need for 'salvation' by exaggerating the sins of the former lifestyles.

23) FEAR - Maintaining loyalty and obedience to the group by threatening soul, life or limb for the slightest 'negative' thought, word or deed.

ALSO TAKE NOTE-

Three Principles of Re-Education

1) REPETITION - Going through the same subject over and over again until it is known by heart.

2) ACTIVITY PEDAGOGICS - The subjects are never left alone nor give any private time of their own, they are always in activity.

3) CRITICISM AND SELF-CRITICISM - The subjects are supposed to feel uncertain; under the constant threat of being humiliated and despised.

Thank you citizen, your compliance in these matters be greatly appreciated by your fellow man, and the sake of your own sanity.

Love, Light + Chaos.

QUICK, TURN ON CNN, THE OLYMPICS ARE FUCKED!

RUNNING battles between protesters and police in London have fuelled concerns of similar scenes during the Australian leg of the Olympic torch relay.

Organisers fears the protests in London will motivate similar action in Canberra when the Olympic flame passes through the capital city on April 24.

British police battled to keep pro-Tibet demonstrators away from the Beijing Olympics flame as it passed through London today, arresting 36 protesters who tried to disrupt the high-security tour.

HAHA SO MUCH FOR PEACE AND GOODWILL BETWEEN ALL MANKIND, SO MUCH FOR SPORTS AND SO MUCH FOR CHINA, SO MUCH FOR TIBET FUCK YOU GUYS, FUCK YOU HUMANITY, I SAW THIS COMING A MILE AWAY, WERE ALL DOOMED AND FUCKED THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Year of the rat #4

By The Good Reverend Roger

Welcome to the monoculture.

Welcome to every city being the same. You walk out of your front door, and you see, what, a McDonalds and a Starbucks and a Theater showing the latest releases of the same remakes and sequels. Problem is, you walk out of ANY front door ANYWHERE, and you'll see the exact same thing.

Where is the "Filthy Joe's Porn Emporium" of yesteryear? Where are the mom & pop diners, the small gun dealers, the independent drug pushers that you knew by name?

All gone. All swallowed up by WalMart and Applebees and Barnes and Noble. The whole nation is slowly turning into one continuous strip mall that repeats itself every so often, like the background in the old Scooby Doo cartoon.

The monoculture spreads like a virus, too...when an alien culture is contacted, it is immediately absorbed, digested, and shit back out in homogenous blocks, with any marketable bits incorporated and passed back down the chain. So maybe the whackjobs in Afghanistan had a point, right? Too bad they were dumb enough to attempt violence, which basically just allowed the monoculture to use any objection as evidence of "terrorism".

And if that's true, then what did all those soldiers die for, anyway? So that lowbrow "patriots" could yell "FUCK YEAH!" every time another MOAB went off? Well, like the tombstones at Arlington spell out when viewed from the air, "THERE'S PLENTY MORE WHERE THESE CAME FROM."

This is it. This is the future. This is what we wanted, right? It must be, because we had a fucking CHOICE, didn't we? It's only our money that makes the Big Pig run...if we didn't like it, we wouldn't buy it.

So let's all go "celebrate diversity" by eating identical Big Macs.

Or kill me.

The war on scientology

Ok guys, I promised a personal report on the results of the scientology raid on the 10th of February, and while this is a little late, well, get over it, I'm a busy man these days.

So your humble narrator arrived at flinders station at about 1:35pm after a long weekend of working his ass off and drinking heavily after work, and I was wondering just how I'll stay awake during the protests. Well, I quickly sobered up once I arrived as there was a huge turn out and upon the realization of just how epic this was, the adrenaline kicked in and I was ready to fight for great justice all day.
I found a nice looking group of anonymous handing out flyers and asked them if I minded if I tagged along with them. They were of course happy to have me in their company, and introduced themselves as Mr White, Mr Brown, and Mr Pink. They decided to call me God. Must have been something I was wearing.
After a while of handing out flyers and talking to randoms about the evils of scientology, there was some sort of announcement made which I didn't catch any of, and we made our way down the the Scientology headquarters in Melbourne.
From there, there was much chanting, much shouting, and a hell of a lot of cars honking horns in support of anonymous.
Your humble reporter decided to start putting up posters around the area, and handing out flyers at a certain corner of the city.
Suddenly, a spy from the Scientology front came past me, and I offered him a flyer, to which he tried bullbaiting, shouting at me, "If you're wearing a mask you have something to hide" to which I calmly retorted "I'm wearing a mask to hide from you, Scifag."
We argued for a moment, and when he realized his bull-baiting was failing him, he stormed off in anger.
Fucking win.
Eventually, the protests came to an end, and I had made many new friends and had found plenty of old friends amongst the masked anonymous, and plenty had recognized me as well, despite my best efforts to blend in with the crowd.
After the protests came to close, we all split up and went to different venues where we know scientologists would be easily spotted due to their inability to drink narcotics, and there was much rejoicing and drinking and pool playing.
Epic win guys.

Results of the melbourne raid:

EPIC WIN.

Melbourne Anonymous and Anonymous around the world, I applaud your efforts.
We have begun the first phase of our strike and to educate the public.
We have found many who wish to join anonymous in their fight, and I have planted seeds for the lady in many various forms.
More later, I'm dissapointed in the lack of media coverage for the melbourne raid, so I intend to do a personal report.

Till then, pictures of melbourne raids here.

My thoughts on war in general

Buddhist soldiers fighting buddhist protesters, lol

War is hilarious.
Millions of people going out to die for the ideals and lies of half a dozen men with small penis's and no sense of humour who were sponsored by weapon making industries who will profit massively the longer a particular war takes.
It's not about winning or freedom, it's all about the bottom line.

Onward Christian soldiers!
Onward Buddhist priests!
Onward fruits of Islam, fight till you're deceased!
Fight your little battles!
Join in the thickest fray!
For the greater glory, of discord-i-a.

Nuff said.

Time for a discordian protest I say!

Finally, something worth protesting about!

In one of history's more absurd acts of totalitarianism, China has banned Buddhist monks in Tibet from reincarnating without government permission. According to a statement issued by the State Administration for Religious Affairs, the law, which goes into effect next month and strictly stipulates the procedures by which one is to reincarnate, is "an important move to institutionalize management of reincarnation.

NO, THIS IS FOR SERIOUS, SRSLY.

Well, I've certainly had enough of this whole oppression against religion by totalitarian governments, and so I'm going to hold a protest soon over china's ban on re-incarnation. Anyone with me?

The Terrorists have already won part 1: Flag burning should be manditory

*This message is brought to you by mission: offend absolutely everyone*

Friends, Neighbours, and most importantly, enemies, lend me your rationality.

I have urgent news for you.
There is no war on terror. The terrorists have already won. Correction, they won a long time ago.
When? When you stopped questioning authority. If you ever questioned it in the first place.

Oh it's probably not your fault really. You were suckered into it from a very early age. A victim of the conspiracy.
You were told to respect your elders, to listen to what they say.
First it was your parents. Then it was your teachers, your boss, your leaders.

But who ever told you to question what they say? Certainly not them. It wouldn't work in their favour.
Your elders demanded complete unquestioning obedience, of course, it was 'for your own good'.
You may have asked questions initially, when you had a million questions to ask about the world, all in innocence.
But it would get to the point when you were told to do something, and you asked, "why?" the response would be, "because I said so", and that would be the end, and you would do it.
Soon enough, you'd be conditioned to do things upon order, without wondering why, assuming it was for your own good.

And this mode of thinking passed on... of course, you were encouraged to ask questions at school.
But really, you were only allowed to ask the right questions, the wrong questions would get you into trouble, or would get ignored, or they would provide you with an answer that you didn't understand, or perhaps was only half of what you really wanted to know, or should have been told.

This created gaps in your rationality, things that on the surface seem to make sense and are complete, but if you were to scratch off the surface and dig a little deeper, you would find that there is a lot of scrambled information.

Were you made to stand up at school assembly, have the flag raised, and sing the national anthem?
Have you ever thought how that has affected you up until this day?

Are you a patriot? Why?
Because you were told that your country is the greatest, and that you should love everything about it, and if anything or anyone threatens the things you love you should be ready to fight and die for it?

Do you respect your flag?
Is it because you were told that flag is a symbol of the greatness of your country and all the freedoms you supposedly have, that your elders died fighting for?

Does it boil your blood when you see someone burn that precious flag?
If your answer is yes, then let me guarantee you one of the first statements made: The terrorists have already won.

For I say, that flag is a symbol, a symbol that represents much more then most of us were told to believe, and that symbol is full of corruption.

It represents the unquestioning love of the country and those who live in it, and the the unquestioning obedience to its leader.
Or the complete ignorance and ability to hate countries that are not your own and all those who live in it, and the complete ignorance of the biased intentions of its leader.

It represents the sense of identity of who you are and your past, that your ancestors used it to show that this land was theirs.
Or the lie that your identity and past depends on that flag being there, and that your ancestors stole the land from the original inhabitants.

It represents something worth fighting for, the freedoms that your ancestors fought and died to protect.
Or the illusion that is worth fighting a meaningless war, and that people who fought for your freedoms should be respected and therefore to show disrespect towards the flag is equal to disrespecting those people, when really, if you don't have the freedom to burn your flag, is truly disrespecting those who died for it.

The flag is NOT what it represents. The flag is a piece of coloured fabric, and is only anything more if you personally see more in it.
The people have forgotten this. The people have lost their way. The people have stopped thinking, and let others tell them what to think.
They let their emotions get in the way of rational thought, and have been fooled into thinking that the menu is more important then the food.
The flag is NOT you. The flag is NOT the people you love. The flag is NOT the country. The flag is NOT your freedom.

So called patriots, WAKE UP. A true patriot would burn their flag because that's the freedom you're supposed to have, that you claim you love so dearly.
If you really think that someone burning "your flag" is an insult to all those things, then you have let the terrorists win.
That's right, YOU.
In fact, when you start to campaign that flag burning should be illegal, then YOU have become the terrorist.
YOU have taken away the freedoms from the people you love and the country you are so proud of, and most importantly, yourself.

When it gets to the point where a flag is burnt, and no one cares, can we say that the world is on its way to winning the war on terror.

Please note: There are rumours of people going around, burning flags, of their own country, and other peoples countries, and that they hate YOU and everything you love.
These people don't hate you, or the country, or the people, they hate that you think a flag is more important then the real problems we have in this world.

Also note: If flag burning is not yet illegal where you are, I suggest taking advantage of it, piss off as many people as possible, and if they ever bother to ask you why you are burning their precious flag, you can tell them.
"I'm trying to make flag burning illegal here, because I love the flag that much".
(Also, it's not "their flag." You bought it, you own it, it's YOUR flag to do with what you want, right?)

Love, Light + Chaos,

-The Cosmopolitan Patriot FFN.

As none of you may have noticed

I've been gone for a while, but it doesn't mean I've stopped posting. On the contrary, I've been saving up an arsenal of shit kicking lately after being thrown into a black iron prison and I've finally made a prison break.
Without ado, I shall continue to update my great blog and help people break out of their black iron prisons.
Tally ho!

AT&T Statement on NSA Issue

San Antonio, Texas, June 27, 2006

At AT&T, we vigorously protect our customers' privacy and only share information as specifically authorized by the law.

The news media have carried reports alleging that AT&T is participating in an unlawful NSA terrorist surveillance program. Unfortunately, the law does not permit AT&T to respond to those allegations.

The U.S. Department of Justice has stated that AT&T may neither confirm nor deny AT&T's participation in the alleged NSA program because doing so would cause "exceptionally grave harm to national security" and would violate both civil and criminal statutes. Under these circumstances, AT&T is not able to respond to such allegations.

What we can say is AT&T is fully committed to protecting our customers' privacy and would not provide customer information to any government agency except as specifically authorized under the law.

St Groucho Marx Day

St Groucho Marx Day is on the 23rd of this month and all discordians worth their salt filled wounds will attend the event outside the state library at 5pm.

I don't know exactly how we'll be celebrating but I know I'll probably be harassing the public with notices that ban them from believing what they read.

The Zenarchist Un-Manifesto

I come from the void to be thrown into this ocean of chaos, to dance and sing, love and hate, to journey and explore, laugh and cry & to rest + die.
I do not know what is right or what is wrong, but I know what hurts.
I know there is no one who truly understands the universe better then I, and I know I know so very little.
The authorities are so very sure, and I am so very confused, yet I smile contently while they are grey-faced.
The religious tell me that I am a sinner, I tell them if that is true, then I blame god.
The government has lied, cheated and stolen unto me, and so I do unto others what has been done to me.
I am a zenarchist, looking for other zenarchists, are you one?
If you are unsure, you probably are.
I wouldn't know a zenarchist if I were staring at one in the mirror.

Letter to the Cabbages Pt 2

By Vexation

In the USA, the general tactic taken to defend "liberty" and "freedom" against an increasingly aggressive, imperialist Federal Government is to quote the "Founding Fathers," in their legislative work, their extragovnernmental literature, and even their private correspondence. The case is usually made that we are somehow straying from the path set forth in the nation's founding principles, and that a move back toward those precepts (which are supposed to be more pure, somehow) is what is needed.

Doing it this way is dead wrong, and it's like fighting a battle for a field you've already signed over to the Enemy.

Invoking the names of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson is exactly what the Empire hopes you will do. It's the Mythology of the State that allows this Imperial government to gain a foothold in American culture in the first place. If we're always worshiping these mythological creatures known as the Founding Fathers, then we're working to change a corrupt system from within the confines of its own corrupt culture of misinformation. And not only that, but you're always fighting for somebody else's ideals. That's the drive of ignorant imperial drones now as it always has been.

For a quick example -- Who cares if the Founding Fathers were Christian or not? Even if it's proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that they did intend to instill Christian theocracy on this continent, does that mean that we today are bound by that? Judging by the way everyone goes back and forth about the Founders and their Constitution, you'd think either side, given sufficient evidence, would concede and capitulate to the other. That's the kind of fight we don't have time for.

Forget what Thomas Jefferson thought -- what do you think?

These men were not fighting to restore order to a collapsing republic -- they were fighting to create a republic. They were fighting to see their own ideas be put into action. That is the spirit of the American Revolution -- not the idea that whatever they did 230 years ago ought to stand forever, but that a truly free people must fight to govern themselves. So, then, should you be fighting to see your ideas bear fruit; not fighting just to convince somebody else that John Hancock and Company were on your side.

Eventually, although it's nearly blasphemous to say so, the Constitution of 1786 will have to be torn down. It will become too tattered and too corrupt; and that is something the Founders always knew (they just don't teach you that part in school for some reason). What will fill the vacuum left where the Constitution used to stand is not up to politicians, pundits, or the media; for those are corrosive elements and therefore cannot build anything. What is built depends on the people who are left in the rubble of the Republic -- and you might be one of those people.

Will you create a system to govern yourselves, because America is nothing without its people; or will you choose to go on pretending that America is its laws and its mythology, and that it lives in spite of its people?

A letter to the cabbages Part 1

By Vexation

Liberty is not inherent in any system of government. In fact, the opposite is true. Every type of government exists, by necessity, to limit liberty. Your personal freedom is not something granted to you by your government: if that is what you believe, then you don't actually have it. Freedom is something you take for yourself, it cannot be given to you.

If a man is kicked out of a prison he is said to be free -- but if all he does with that "freedom" is to live in a room and go to work every day like he is "supposed to," then he is really no more free than he was in prison. He has nicer clothes to wear, maybe, and his cell block is larger. More choices at the comissary, more options in the mess hall. But he is nevertheless as fearful of the Authorities as he was in prison; he is subject to punitive action by the administration whether inside or outside the prison walls.

In spite of these obvious truths, it has become popular among the masses to assume that because they are comfortable, they are "free." There is a certain degree of truth to that (as is usually the case with lies), because they are "free" to choose from what is presented to them; they are "free" to associate with the approved groups; they are "free" to protest government policy, so long as they are in "free-speech zones" and they have a permit and they aren't physically located anywhere that might threaten what the government wants to do.

But that isn't really liberty. Liberty is saying what you believe, even if it makes the Authorities uncomfortable. Liberty is going where you want, and not telling anybody where or why. Liberty means that you're free to cover your tracks if you want to, free to talk to and associate with whoever you want. It isn't "Freedom within reasonable boundaries," because people are not reasonable and can be fooled into believing that even totalitarianism is reasonable. Sometimes, totalitarianism IS reasonable, but just because a thing makes sense doesn't mean it is always RIGHT.

The government which claims to be "preserving" our rights and "protecting" our freedom is violating both while we idly sit by and accept entertainment and convenience in return. How long until the resources that keep us mesmerized by television and fast food run out? How far into imperialism and aggression will we allow our government to go to keep our stomachs and eyeballs pacified?

And what will we do when all else really does fail, and we are left with neither convenience nor liberty; our plates filled with stale bread and our living rooms filled with stormtroopers to keep us from complaining about it?

Scientologists sure do look retarded.

I'd apologise for the lack of updates lately, but I won't as I've been quite busy for the last 2 weeks learning all about the art of being a legal drug dealer and having been quite busy in general, because I have a life.

So I'd like to welcome myself back by posting this picture of a scientologist.
I don't really have to say anything for his stupidity to be apparent, right?

Oh man, I'm sooo hope this post will get me onto their "Fair Game" list.

Thats right lunatics and born-again cabbages, the 23rd of the month comes, and you know what that means, it's time to cause a riot in the city! (Or at least scare little children)

This months randomly picked allocation for said event shall be at the Adam Linsday Gordon memorial park next to parliament & opposite parliament station, at around 5 pm.

Since we're so close to a government building, I could recommend bringing bombs.
(Legal Team inside my head sez: Water Bombs, fools. Preferable to be filled with things other then water, since we're going through a draught and all, and that would be a waste.)

It is thought we should spot each other under this dude.

Who am I?

Who cares about who I am *really*? No one.
Who cares about other peoples results for stupid online tests that are supposed to define your personality? No one.

And yet, I found this compelling enough of a result from a test that I'm going to put it on my blog, because, who cares, really? (Also, I must confess- Just really like this design and want an excuse to put it on my blog)

You are The Fool

The Fool is the card of infinite possibilities. The bag on the staff indicates that he has all he need to do or be anything he wants, he has only to stop and unpack. He is on his way to a brand new beginning. But the card carries a little bark of warning as well. Stop daydreaming and fantasising and watch your step, lest you fall and end up looking the fool.
